BioWare to Release Single Player DLC For Mass Effect 3
After releasing a ho-hum Extended Cut update to address outcry over the game’s lackluster endings, BioWare is looking to further cash in on expand the Mass Effect 3 story with a new single player campaign called Leviathan. It’s designed to reveal more about the Reapers.
Leviathan’s plot is set prior to the original game’s ending. It will allow players to explore uncharted systems and new areas on the Citadel including interactions with new characters.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Dawnguard Released For PC
Bethesda finally announced during QuakeCon 2012 today that the Dawnguard expansion for Skyrim is available to PC gamers via Steam. You can snag a copy for $19.99.
In other news, QuakeCon 2012 started today. There sure wasn’t a lot of build-up this year.
Bethesda Acquires Rights to Develop S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Game
Neither Bethesda nor ZeniMax Media have commented yet but there’s a spectacular rumor circulating that Bethesda has acquired the rights to develop a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game.
The source of the story, a Ukrainian blogger named Sergey Galyonkin, is the same person who originally reported that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 was canceled earlier this year, so there’s good reason to believe that his sources are telling the truth. This would be awesome.
Skyrim vs. 300
Someone recreated the final scene from 300 using the Skyrim engine. Wow.

Minecraft Characters Modded Into Skyrim
It was bound to happen eventually; Minecraft has been mashed up with Skyrim. The mod is called MinerFriends, and while it’s a bit buggy it appears to work for the most part.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic PC Collection
LucasArts is finally planning to re-release the PC versions of both Knights of the Old Republic games on July 17th - for $20! Both games, which were developed by BioWare and Obsidian respectively, are among the best RPG titles to ever see a release on the PC.
Seriously, if you’ve never played the KotOR games before, it’s an experience you need to have. I’m not even a big Star Wars fan and yet I remember spent weeks playing through both of these games back in college.
