Pixel
Pixel is a highly addictive Flash based shooter. It’s sort of like Asteroids meets Geometry Wars. I lost a good hour of my life to it the other night, so I figured I’d share it with you guys.
Heli Attack
I’ve been playing the Heli Attack series for years. It’s one of my favorite Flash based games. The original is great, although it’s not nearly as polished as the sequels. Heli Attack 2 is great when you’re bored but Heli Attack 3 has a lot more depth. The third game is also a lot more of a challenge than the first two.
F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin
As any of you F.E.A.R. fans know by now, Project Origin is out in stores. It’s available on Steam as well.
I haven’t played the full game yet but the demo was impressive. I’m a huge fan of the graphics and it’s impossible not to love the audio. It really makes you jump at times.
IGN gave it a solid 8.3 in their review. Their thoughts were basically the same as mine – it’s a great game but it doesn’t really deviate from the formula found in previous installments in the series. I’m not necessarily saying that’s a bad thing. It would just be nice to see something new come out of the designers and developers at Monolith. Regardless, this is a game worth checking out if you’re a true FPS fan.
