R2-D2: The Ultimate Console Tower
Someone brought this amazing custom R2-D2 console tower to PAX a few weeks back but photos are just now beginning to surface. The creator packed ten systems and a computer into the build. The integrated systems are as follows.
- NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube
- Sega Genesis, Sega Dreamcast
- PlayStation 2, PSP (Hidden), Xbox, Atari 2800
- Desktop Computer
That’s a lot of mod work.
Star Wars Collection on Steam for $49.99
If you missed out on the opportunity to pick up the Star Wars collection from Steam during their summer sale a few months back, now is your chance to get it for $49.99!
It’s a total of 13 games. Unfortunately, Knights of the Old Republic II still isn’t on the list. (I’ve never understood why that game hasn’t been added to Steam, yet.)
Star Wars Propaganda Posters
I have no idea where these came from. A user sent them to us yesterday.
“Smash Brothers” Style Star Wars Game Unveiled at PAX
LucasArts brought something very interesting to PAX this year. It looks to be a Smash Brothers style game for the Nintendo Wii rooted in the Star Wars universe.
Up to four players can fight in the same game. There are eight characters to choose from.
Empires Poppin’, Rebels Droppin’
It ain’t easy bein’ a Stormtrooper, yo.
This t-shirt is for sale on Mother Falcon. Sadly, they’re asking $29.99, which is a lot of dough for any article of clothing short of a jacket.
It is an awesome design, though.
Chewie and Han
You’re not going to find a cooler mash-up of Calvin and Hobbes and Star Wars than in this t-shirt designed by artist Chris Wahl. It’s a bit over $20 but well worth the money if you grew up in the era of the world’s best comic strip of all time.
Stormtroopin’ in the Rain
Wicked track. Sick dance moves. Stormtroopers. What more can you ask for?
