Alien Breed Evolution
Team17, a gaming company that’s been coming out with awesome titles (most notably the Worms series) since way back in the Amiga days, is about to release a new one called Alien Breed Evolution. It’s a rather awesome looking marriage of old school and new school top-down shooters. Check out the trailer for a glimpse of the gameplay. It’s coming to Xbox Live Arcade and PSN as an episodic release – three parts in total.

Definitive Guide to Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer
It’s been a long time since an article on Something Awful really made me laugh out loud but this “definitive” guide to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer got me. If you’ve played even a few rounds on Xbox Live, then you’re going to understand.
EA Makes Gamers Pay for Boobies
You’ve got to hand it to Electronic Arts – they come up with some elaborate ways of making money. Take, for example, their plan for the naughty content in their upcoming title The Saboteur. The game opens with a close-up on a topless stripper – but only if you have the Midnight Show DLC that they’re launching with the game. Every retail copy will come with a complimentary code to download the DLC at no additional charge. However, if you buy the game used or borrow it from a friend, you don’t get to see any digital hooters without shelling out an extra five bucks.
Seriously. This isn’t a joke. Check out this article on Wired for more.
Red Dead Redemption
This one’s on my, “Holy shit buy it the moment it hits store shelves!” list. For sure.

Assassin’s Creed II: Two DLC Expansions Coming!
Ubisoft recently confirmed that there are two large DLC packs coming out for Assassin’s Creed II. One is due out in January, the other in February. Both will fill gaps in the main story. The January release is called The Battle of Forli. The February pack is called The Bonfire of the Vanities. No word, yet, on pricing but Ubisoft says that you’ll need at least 1GB of space per pack, which means that they’ll probably carry a significant amount of content.
Tony Hawk Tumbles
The Tony Hawk franchise has really taken a dive in recent years. I remember playing the original on Nintendo 64 until my thumbs were literally bleeding. It’s still one of my all time favorite console games, which makes this GameRankings graphic that much sadder.
EA Bringing Back Medal of Honor
Electronic Arts has confirmed that Medal of Honor will make its triumphant return to the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 in 2010. EA Los Angeles and DICE are developing the title, which is set in modern day Afghanistan. The official teaser trailer will be made public at this year’s VGA awards on Spike TV – December 12th.
